Privacy Policy

Sense2 Pty Ltd (ABN tbd) collects, handles and protects personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This page explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how you can access or correct it.

Who we are

Sense2 Pty Ltd is an Australian promotional products, corporate gifts and branded merchandise business headquartered in Byron Bay, New South Wales. We service customers across Australia, New Zealand, the United States and internationally. Our principal website is sense2.com.au.

What we collect

  • Account + order data — name, business name, email, phone, delivery address, billing address, purchase history.
  • Payment data — processed by our PCI-compliant payment gateway. Sense2 does not store full card numbers.
  • Artwork — logos, design files and creative briefs you supply for branded production.
  • Communications — email, phone, chat, Findie AI concierge transcripts and support tickets.
  • Website telemetry — cookies, IP address, browser/OS, pages viewed, referrer. Used for analytics, fraud prevention and site performance.

How we use it

  • To process orders, run production, dispatch freight and provide post-sale support.
  • To personalise product recommendations (including via the Findie AI concierge).
  • To send operational emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, proofs, artwork approvals).
  • To send marketing emails when you've opted in — you can unsubscribe from any of them at any time.
  • To comply with Australian tax, consumer protection, procurement and record-keeping laws.

Who we share it with

We share only the minimum personal information required for the purpose, and only with trusted partners bound by written agreements that require equivalent privacy standards:

  • Fulfilment + freight partners — for dispatch, tracking and split-drop shipping.
  • Decoration suppliers — for branded production (artwork and product-level detail only).
  • Payment providers — for secure checkout and fraud screening.
  • Platform providers — hosting, email, analytics, customer-service tools (Vercel, Google Workspace, etc.).
  • Government and regulators — only where legally required (e.g. warrant, tax audit).

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Overseas disclosure

Some of our platform providers (hosting, email, analytics, AI language models) are based outside Australia — typically the United States and the European Union. Where we use overseas providers, we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Cookies

We use first-party and third-party cookies for essential site functionality, analytics, personalisation, and ad-attribution when you arrive via a paid campaign. You can disable cookies in your browser; some site features may not function without them.

Your rights

Under Australian law you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct it if it's inaccurate.
  • Ask us to delete it (subject to our legal record-keeping obligations for tax and order history).
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
  • Complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au if you believe we've breached the APPs.

Security

We encrypt data in transit (HTTPS/TLS), restrict access to order and account information on a need-to-know basis, and maintain documented incident-response procedures. If a data breach occurs that's likely to cause serious harm, we will notify you and the OAIC in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
